Prof. Dariusz Witt
Chemistry Division Executive Manager
Dariusz Witt graduated with honors (Primus Inter Pares) from the Gdansk University of Technology in 1992. His PhD work in the group of Prof. Janusz Rachon at GUT focused on the elucidation of reaction mechanisms of various classes of organosulfur and organophosphorus compounds. Dariusz obtained his Doctorate with General Honors in 1996. From 1998 to 2000 he was a post-doctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Lyle Isaacs at the University of Maryland.
In 2005, Dariusz joined ProChimia Surfaces where he is now the Chemistry Division Executive Manager. Dariusz authored 16 scientific publications, and is interested in various aspects of organic synthetic methodology, surface modification and molecular self-assembly. He is ProChimia’s EVO-NANO principal investigator and is responsible for overall scientific performance within the project.
